FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT

Laura Polley is Founder of Global Incentives Inc. (formally Independent Film Financing, “IFF”).

Prior to establishing IFF in 1997, Laura was Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Financial Investments at Paragon Entertainment. She oversaw their tax shelter division, and raised financing for numerous film and television productions.

Laura has received several Women Entrepreneur of the Year nominations, and she was featured in the venture section of The Globe and Mail.

Len Pendergast

VICE-PRESIDENT

Before joining Global Incentives Inc. in 2005, Len Pendergast was Director of Tax Credits at Ontario Media Development Corporation. He was responsible for six cultural industry tax credits on behalf of the province of Ontario, managing over 1,000 applications annually.

Len began his career working in the film & television production industry. He worked on various productions, and also produced an independent feature film.

Len has served on industry boards, is an advisor to government and industry groups, and is often a speaker and moderator on industry financing panels.
